The Scarf as a Symbol of Freedom and Boundaries
For centuries, the scarf has accompanied women, reflecting their identity, beliefs, and status. It could serve as a protective veil or a barrier that conceals. It intertwines tradition, culture, and personal history, becoming both an adornment and a silent witness to a woman’s life.
Exhibition Overview
The “Woman in Search of Freedom” exhibition tells the stories of women through surrealistic imagery. Chandralizmy, transferred onto scarves, gain profound symbolism—where a woman wraps, hides, or adorns herself with her own history. The collection consists of both physical and digital scarves, adorned with surreal and autobiographical works by artist Chandra Li. Each piece conveys the delicate nuances of female identity, strength, and vulnerability, exploring the fine line between freedom and restriction.
Metaverse
In the Spatial metaverse, the project appeared as a three-space digital exhibition. The virtual part was accompanied by an interactive Fashion Quest — a conceptual narrative journey through the world of images and meanings in the collection.
Runway
The project was presented simultaneously in both physical and virtual spaces — at Unique Fashion Show in Paris 2025. The digital looks were also integrated into the live show, with a simultaneous broadcast of the Paris runway in the metaverse.
The collection consists of both physical and digital scarves, adorned with surreal and autobiographical works. Each piece conveys the delicate nuances of female identity, strength, and vulnerability, exploring the fine line between freedom and restriction.

Performance “Azadi”is the physical embodiment of a multilayered art collaboration titled “Woman in Search of Freedom”, initiated by artist Chandra Li. This live piece brings to life the silk scarf “Women of Afghanistan”, originally painted by Chandra as a visual manifesto in support of Afghan women.
WOMAN IN SEARCH OF FREEDOM
A digital capsule by Chandra Li and an international team of 3D designers
A phygital collaboration between artist Chandra Li and a curated group of international 3D fashion designers. Woman in Search of Freedom explores the intersection of fashion surrealism and digital couture.
Each invited designer selected one of the ten original silk scarves from the WISOF collection and created a digital look inspired by its visual language and embedded symbolism.
A key condition: the scarf had to be fully integrated into the final look—not only as a detail, but as a visual and conceptual anchor.
The project brought together 3D designers from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, each interpreting the theme through their cultural lens and digital expertise.

Unique Fashion Show is a groundbreaking phygital event at the intersection of fashion, technology, and art.
The physical runway and virtual space merge into a single experience. It unites local and global brands, grunge culture, and bourgeois elegance in an endless flow of real and digital imagery.
The project Woman In Search of Freedom, was presented simultaneously in both physical and virtual spaces — at Unique Fashion Show in Paris 2025 and in the Spatial metaverse as a three-space digital exhibition. The virtual part was accompanied by an interactive Fashion Quest — a conceptual narrative journey through the world of images and meanings in the collection. The digital looks were also integrated into the live show, with a simultaneous broadcast of the Paris runway in the metaverse.
The show lent the project additional weight and reach by providing a physical platform, press support, and a conceptual environment whose values of solidarity and mutual understanding resonate with the themes of freedom and unity at the heart of WISOF.

ADAMS
Angy Adams is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of digital art, fashion, and immersive storytelling; art director and visual producer for Unique Fashion Show Digital. Сo‑founder and creative director of ProGenius Studio
Angy created the visual style for the project Woman In Search of Freedom: she developed a cohesive system of digital campaigns and visual production, designed the architecture of the digital collection within the Unique Fashion Show metaverse location, and crafted the designs for all silk scarves that underpin the project’s fashion collaborations.
For the WISOF subproject Azadi, Angy developed the visual style and directed the central video performance.
CHOICE
DAO
The CHOICE community provided support in the implementation of the project, offering technical and media assistance and coordinating its strategic integration into the Web3 and digital fashion ecosystem. As part of its involvement, CHOICE also initiated and hosted an international AI open call on the theme “Woman in Search of Freedom,” inviting artists from around the world to express their vision through generative design.
The winner of the open call was Angela Fraser — a multidisciplinary visual artist and generative design specialist working at the intersection of storytelling and AI fashion.
